Schollenberger Park

Today after my interview I drove down the road, changed my clothes and rode my bike around Schollenberger Park. I was in birdie heaven. I can't believe I've never been there before. The interview went well, and I really want the job!

There were white swans, Canadian Geese, Sandpipers,

and Redwing Blackbirds!

Looking towards Lakeville

Nancy, I'm keeping my fingers crossed you get the job! And what beautiful pictures - is the park in Petaluma? That is almost in my backyard. I think I have a lot of exploring to do!

Thanks, Jo! We'll have to meet at Schollenberger sometime - there's a loop trail along the Petaluma River and some wetlands with tons of birds. I really want to prioritize visiting more of our parks. I also just recently went to Helen Putnam Park; also in Petaluma. And, yeah, I think it is just a quick jump over the hill for you.

Gorgeous photos. It's like you designed the poster for the park.

Aw, Redwing Blackbird. We don't have those here.
